These frog photos were all taken at the Peace Lodge Frog Ranarium. Our guide for the Coffee Plantation, Jonathan, was also the curator of the Ranarium. Although most of these frogs are poisonous, he was able to pick them up in his bare hands because, as he said, “We don’t feed them poisonous ants.” Thus, the poison comes from their diet. Since the frog walk was a night, all the photos are taken with a flash.

The species were the Black & Green Poisonous Tree Frog, the Blue Jeans Frog, and the Red-eyed and Yellow-eyed Tree Frogs.
