Waxwings
belong to the family Bombycilla, a small family consisting on only three species.

The Bohemian Waxwing and the Cedar Waxwing are North American birds while the Japanese Waxwing is from Asia and most of Russia.

Waxwings are characterized by soft silky plumage. They have unique red tips to some of the wing feathers. Their main food is fruit.
